The Company was founded in 1952 by husband and wife team, Joyce and Tom Bradbury. They started hiring dumpers, mixers, rollers and water pumps and steadily grew the business over the next 24 years, being one of the first to spot the potential and introduce the mini excavator to the hire market during the late 70s.

In 1976 the business became Limited and changed its name from J.A. Bradbury to Winnersh Plant Hire Limited. Around this time sons, Michael and Kevin joined the firm and continued the rapid expansion of the fleet with forklifts, skid steer loaders, air compressors, traffic lights and a large selection of small tools.

With over 50 years experience the Company has gained an enviable reputation for providing its customers with a fast and reliable service, hiring a comprehensive range of plant and machinery with the latest models by leading manufacturers, at competitive prices.
